Our agency is dedicated to helping children and foster families succeed. The children we serve come into state custody due to abuse and neglect of for other reasons cannot live with a parent or relative. New Beginnings serves children of all races from birth to age 18 with a wide variety of emotional and behavioral problems. New Beginnings Family Services spends less than 10 % of our annual gross income on administrative costs.  Our team has been successful in transitioning children back to a parent or relative with less than 4 % requiring a higher level of care.

In-kind Gifts -  New Beginnings also accepts in-kind contributions, such as office space, furniture, and children’s items. Items needed for children include suitcases, school backpacks and supplies for all ages. Clothing, including socks and underwear, and toiletry items, such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, hairbrushes, barrettes, headbands, and ponytail holders are always in demand. Children with special needs relish the joy of owning their own toys, books, musical CDs or stuffed animals.

Special Events - Each year, New Beginnings organizes an annual fundraiser. Sponsorships and donations from heartfelt donors make this event possible.

Annual Holiday Party -  One of the brightest moments of the year occurs at the annual holiday party of children and their foster families. Businesses and/or individuals can make a child’s dream come true with an in-kind fit of monetary contribution, which allows the staff at New Beginnings to select special gifts for our special needs children.
